Crocheting Adventures One Stitch at a Time. Just like everything else. There is a point of origin. Where did all of it start? Victorious Creations has multiple moments that all lead to & added up to what you get to be part of today. And just like so many wonderful things. It all started because of loving someone. Just like you have things in your life, that you do because of love. It’s interwoven, created, one stitch at a time. Each moment incredible. Just like your story, this one has some main characters.

I am a wife to my very own Prince Charming, (who is still human. Lol) We are High School Sweethearts.  He saved my life the day I met him!  On my 17^th birthday.  But that’s another story for later.  I am a Mommy to 3 wonderful children.  I deeply love them, and delight in being their Mom.  They are quite a lot of inspiration to me.  In fact, it’s one reason why Victorious Creations is even here.  Been crocheting since I was 10.  I knew about granny squares and some different things to do for neat looking blankets.  But never passionate until my oldest was a year old.  When I learned about crocheting TOYS!!! 

            It wasn’t long before I was trying more and more things.  And there became ANOTHER INCREDIBLE LAYER OF THIS PASSIONATE LOVE OF CROCHETING toys.  CROCHETING WITH GOD!  I had just read the book, “The Hiding Place” by Corrie ten Boom with John and Elizabeth Sherrill.  And there was a part in there.  Where her father, who repaired clocks, would talk with God, who was the Master of all clocks.  To help him understand and be able to do something that was beyond him at the moment.

            I love God!  And I talk to Him all of the time.  (It helps that I can’t annoy Him, no matter how much I talk.)  It wasn’t long after reading that, that I came across something within a pattern that I couldn’t understand at all.  Never heard of it.  In fact, it was causing an incredible amount of frustration! So much so, that the project had been on hold for a while.  I asked God, who is the Master of crocheting as well, to help me.  Which has opened up an entire new world to me! 

Turns out that God deeply cares and is interested, even if it is just trying to figure out a crochet pattern.  And as this grew and grew over the years; leaning into and fully enjoying God being with me while I crochet.  As well as God fanning the flame within me of wanting to be an entrepreneur.

Here We Are Today!

             I crochet with Holy Spirit.  It’s AMAZING!  Talking to Him about what it is that I am envisioning and want to accomplish.  And get to these sections that I’m unsure how to create it, and I’ll hear God, “2hdc, then 3dc in the same st…” This has been like an incredible adventure with God. Each pattern like a roadmap, to the same destination. Even better, a Treasure Map leading to a desired treasure. Which is much more than just another crocheted item.

You & I both know that crocheting is like making tangible gifts of love! When you see a pattern, and you light up. How often is it connected a thought of someone you love.
