Pattern Overview

This pattern is written in US terms. It’s an easy to follow pattern. With a photo and video tutorial.

So here’s a quick breakdown of the yarn and other supplies. As well as a look at the possible amount of time.

Of course yarn. As crocheters, our superpower is to transform yarn into something amazing! To make up these adorable Mini Jack-o’-lanterns you are going to need worsted weight yarn. In 3 colors. I used Red Heart Super Saver in Pumpkin (fitting), Pale Yellow and Thyme. You can, by all means, make these with whatever colors you want to. You can even use blanket yarn/bulky size 6 to make these up. Still as fast. Just now you get a good medium sized Jack-o’-lantern out of the deal.

If you use the blanket yarn (I used Big Twist Plush in Electric Tangerine), then use a US size N crochet hook with it.

For the worsted weight yarn. Use either the US size G hook for the smallest size. Or the US size I hook for a bit bigger Jack-o’-lantern.

Then the normal- every other project- tools. Stuffing. Stitch markers, scissors, blunt yarn needle, sharp yarn needle. You know all of the thing you have in your Craft Room in a Bag. (Don’t know what that is. No worries. Go here to get the whole set up and checklist to get you started. Yours free when you join my email list. That way you get all of the best that happens here in VC.)
