Have You Ever Felt Burned Out? Tired.

Reading that title, most of us are just rolling our eyes. With the ever ready, “Duh.”
If so. We’ve probably been sitting together in the same boat. Tired and flat out exhaustion are a normal. Or at least a regular. Things rarely slow down.
But has this “regular” been creeping up and becoming something a bit more menacing? Are you feeling defeated? Overwhelmed? Find yourself procrastinating. You know you’re in its clutches, when the very things that use to bring you joy, no longer do. You just don’t have an interest in it anymore.
Now. You may be facing a giant a whole lot bigger that just simple burnout. And if that’s the case. I wholeheartedly encourage you to seek out professional help. I’ll be the first one to say that. In fact I’m praying for you (God knows exactly who you are & what you are going through) to have the same that God gave me. Direct connection to the very person who is equipped/trained and can help you just as you need it. So that you can overcome and slay the giant facing you.
But, if you aren’t in that situation. Let’s talk about burnout. How do you avoid burnout? And if you are already there, how do you get out of burnout?
Because this past time/hobby of crocheting just isn’t what it used to be for you. What if it’s not a source of peace. Creativity. Or that wonderful sense of accomplishment that it once was. Are the projects piling up unfinished?
As with nearly anything, the joy we have for crochet can slowly be overshadowed by other things—stress from life, projects that turned out to be a whole lot bigger than we thought. Even unrealistic expectations we place on ourselves. As mommas, we are often juggling so much. It is quite easy for the things that once brought us joy to start feeling like just another task. You know that as well as I do. Especially with the holidays approaching.
And what really sneaky about this whole thing is that it sneaks up on you. It’s one project that starts to get you feeling defeated. You have lost interest in it. And now it’s been sitting under a stack of things. Has been for a few months. What you haven’t fully noticed though is that stack isn’t hiding just one project. But 2 or 3. What about when you have multiple piles, piling up?
What do you do then. Because now the coping mechanisms are actually causing you more stress.
Que the …….
Anyone have the number for a local knight in shining armor?
Don’t know about you. But he hasn’t been around here.
But God.
God is incredibly faithful. And even when you don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes. He’s got your back. He even knows how to get the right information into your hands. Even when you weren’t looking for it in the first place.
A couple of weeks ago, I was teaching. Starting up an Intermediate Confidently Crocheting class. During one of those lessons, Holy Spirit just dropped a concept. It fit perfectly with what I was teaching. I went forward with what I was hearing from Holy Spirit. And boy did that new lesson completely impact my entire world.
What God taught me in that moment about the “cup of expectation”, partnered with what He has been showing me for years, about your emotions. Years ago, while talking to my little boys (who are no longer little). God dropped a lesson that emotions are signposts. That lesson has grown throughout the years.
And in this small eBook of only 30 pages, I bring you part of that lesson all those years ago. That emotions are signposts. And the full teaching that God just gave me a few weeks ago. All about the “cup of expectation”. 2 sections of the 5 that help you FROG; unravel the issue that is causing you to experience burnout. Each section has it’s own set of journaling pages. So that you can breakdown and implement this same process. To help you be free from burnout this holiday season too.
There is a bonus section. Where I share a real life example, showing how this process helped get me unstuck. One place I was totally unaware of. Which is most of these situations; right. Grab your digital copy today. So that you can avoid burnout. Looking forward to each day and any project.
